The long awaited day had arrived for
our group to head to my spiritual parents church – Yorkton Faith
Ministries located in Yorkton SK. I was pumped up in the Spirit after
spending a week at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City
and was looking forward to releasing some Kingdom words to God’s
people in SK. The day was cool and rain was in the air but my heart
was warmed by the fact that there was a portion of the Christian
Light Riders to accompany me on this journey.
We arrived in Yorkton in the pouring
rain but were quickly warmed by the welcoming we received. After a
sweet time of worship, Pastor Kevin Bundus (my spiritual dad) turned
his pulpit over to me and what an honor and privilege that was. I
have been in their church many times and have grown fond of the
congregation so to be able to share my heart with these brothers and
sisters in Christ was an experience like no other. There is something
so very special about preaching in a house fathered by the man and
woman who led me to Christ five years ago.
Much to my brother Jimmy’s delight I
kept the message to one hour and after some altar prayer we were
treated to a bountiful BBQ and wonderful fellowship. Pastor Kevin and
Pastor Pat Bundus spared no expense treating the Christian Light
Riders like royalty. They also blessed us with a significant
donation to the Run For The Son annual fundraiser. I owe much to
Kevin and Pat for it was because of their love for Jesus and
fulfilling His Words that I am where I am today. A big thank you to
Kevin and Pat and the members of the congregation at Yorkton Faith
Ministries for your love and hospitality.

Our ride home was
wet and cold but our hearts were warm after experiencing the love of
Jesus through His people, His Word and the fellowship of wonderful
brothers and sisters in Christ.
