CMA Run For The Sun Shoal Lake May 31st, 2015

On May 31^st, the Christian Light Riders made our annual RFTS journey to the Shoal Lake Baptist Church pastored by Wendy Thom. Thanks to Area Rep Grace Loewen, we were able to share a wonderfully put together 10 minute video of what the CMA ministry is all about and specifically how the Christian Light Riders serve their community and beyond. Thank you Grace for all the hours you put into the making of this video! We were blessed by the church worship group and then I shared a message entitled “So you want to go back to Egypt?” It’s all about moving forward in the blessings of God rather than focusing on our past. We are to taste and see the goodness of God in the land of the living. After the message, we were spoiled by an amazing meal highlighted by Chapter Member Jim’s favorite fried chicken!! No, he didn’t make it, but he sure loves to devour it. A great time of fellowship was had by all and I especially enjoyed re-connecting with Terry Baker – a local cowboy and minister of the Gospel. We are looking forward to participating in their Western Gatherin event coming up July 11 & 12. I think I can speak for all of CLR family that our greatest highlight was spending time with our brother Merl and seeing the healing God is manifesting in his life. We look forward to riding together with you again Merl and Glenda and the next generation of CLR in their son Cody! Praise and glory and honor be unto our Savior Jesus Christ!
