Season 2013 in Portage La Prarie

On March 21 and 22nd CMA including the Victory Riders and the Christian Light Riders met in Portage to celebrate our regular spring welcoming event called Seasons of Refreshing. However spring seems a long way away yet.
The community of the Highway Baptist Church once again hosted our seminar. Our leaders for this event was our Area 3 Rep, James and Helene Rosso Evangelist Carlos and his family were there as well. The Saturday movie about the life of Charles Spurgeon was very enjoyable and informative  and every much enjoyed. The Praise and Worship team was part of the CLR membership lead by our very own President Bruce.

Run For The Son

Run For The Son is our one and only fund raiser that all members of CMA participates in. As such several church presentations are on schedule.

Others will be added as they are scheduled.

Sunday Ride Schedules and Times

Sunday Rides are pre-scheduled to help plan your riding with a group. These rides depart from the Canadian Tire just beside the gas bar at 2:30pm sharp. The Road Captain chooses the route to follow and usually includes an Ice Cream stop at some location. Most rides return to Brandon about 5:30pm and most times we go to dinner as a group at some  chosen location.

The Road Captain remains mindful of the partisipants so all types of riders and bikes are invited understanding that they must be able to maintain highway speeds. The riders ride in a staggared formation and they are followed by a designated rider in case of breakdowns.

So this is you invitation to join us when you can on Sunday:
June 9 and 30
July 14 and 28
Aug 11 and 25  This is the same time as the Corn and Apple Festival. Early morning departure
Sept 8 and 22
October is open depending on the weather. 

CMA Area Three Rally

The Region Three Area is made up of Southern Saskatchewan, Manitoba and also North Western Ontario.
 This year, the Rally is to be held in Dauphin Manitoba on July 19th  thru to July 21st. Pastor Scott from the Mountainview Christian Assembly, 525  Whitmore Ave. East will be hosting the event.
