Prison Ministry to BCC Sept 21, 2012

The feedback from all our Chapter members was positive and we are still celebrating God's goodness that was bestowed upon us that day. We counted approx. 112 that heard a message, 28 who received personal prayer, and 3 that received Jesus as Lord and Savoir for the first time!
                          Note
For more of President Bruce's testament, please see above page entitled
"I was in prison and you came to visit me" Matthew 25:36 NIV"

Country B-B-Q

On Sept 15th, 2012 we were invited to the home of a new biking friend, Helen. We enjoyed a great BBQ together with Helen and her friends and family.
After the bonfire was started President Bruce played beautiful music and lead us in a great time of worship.
A big thank you to Helen and family.
Helen is looking forward to getting her own motorcycle. So for right now she is doing her "riding" on the back of another bike to get ahead start on her time of "riding with the pac" before joining CLR.

Scott writes "The lord is good.  Many thanks to the CMA. For there wonderful support About. 200-250 joined in for a wonderful breakfast, testimonies and a short message from President Bruce. The fruits:  one salvation, a re-dedication and prayers for the needs of people. Following was a time of communion and sharing the emblems with each other.

Is This Rebellion?

Sunday Sept 2nd, on a recent trip to Dauphin Manitoba celebrating a wonderful morning at Pastor Scott Allen's church where CLR members and others from the community shared a great pancake breakfast with each other and the wasps. After failing to obtain food at Barnaby's in Onanole, we proceeded to Uncle Toms diner in Minnedosa.
Shortly after this strange CMA member was discovered, his identity was hidden from the camera for his own safety. So is this (1) A new  extension to the patch? (2) Total rebellion? ( 3)Can't read? (4) Or just the editor of this blog goofing off?

Alzheimer Poker Derby Aug. 18, 2012

Once again this year CLR participated in helping out with the Alzheimer poker derby. This is about the 11the year that we have been involved. This year it was held in the downtown location closing off 9th street just south of City Hall.
This location was first used in 2011 because the floods of that year ravaged the park we have been using previously. It has proven to be very suitable and to all participants and volunteers seems to be favored over the park location.
This year there has been an increase in participants even though rain was threatened for the region. We did have a few riders running through localized rain showers and the site of the games received a good downpour just prior to the games starting. No harm done. From this short blurb, I will let the pictures following tell the story. See you all next year.

Other events CLR members attended this summer

Cycle Boyz Poker Derby, Cystic Fibrosis Ride for the Breath of Life, Cavalier Ride North Dakota, Bondslave MC Victory Rally & Races, BAD Rally(bikers against diabetes), Port Dover Friday the 13th, Sturgis, Teen Challenge Ride for Eternity This has been an exceptional year for motorcycling in the region. The Lord has protected all of the riders and blessed their efforts in this ministry.

Praise the Lord for the return of ALL lost moneys

Adventures of our Sunday afternoon rides:

Our ride to Neepawa on August 5th turned out to be a great adventure. As we left Neepawa one rider lost a bundle of cash from his pocket. A few others stopped to help him and they were able to reclaim all of the $500. that had blown away. Our normal ride is to head out of Brandon and ride for approximately one hour for ice cream and then return to Brandon and see who would like to go out for supper as a group. On this occasion the consensus was to head from Neepawa to Lee’s restaurant in Rivers. We arrived in Rivers only to find the restaurant CLOSED. After a long discussion a restaurant in Brandon was picked. Again on arriving at the chosen restaurant it was CLOSED. After a shorter discussion another restaurant in Brandon was picked, only to find out on arriving that there was NO ROOM for us. One more restaurant was chosen and this time we were successful. We left BP in Brandon after finishing our meal at 8:40. Our next Sunday ride was to Virden and then on to Rivers. This time we phoned ahead and 21 of us enjoyed a meal together before returning back to Brandon.
