BCC visit Sept 22nd, 2007

This is a small clip of the group of about 10 motorcycles entering the grounds at the Brandon Correctional Center on Saturday Sept 22nd. It was a great day to do outside ministry, an annual event for the CLR. We had representation from Falcon Lake, Winnipeg and Dauphin. This year we implemented a new format that seemed to create a bit more one-on-one interaction with the inmates. After the ministry was completed we were treated to a great dinner with the inmates and guards. Here is a picture of the group.

Divine Appointments.
On August 5 2007 after our morning service, a lady whom I have known for years came and asked if she could pray for me as I was going to Sturgis. As she was praying she began to pray that God would use my mouth and a fresh anointing of the Spirit upon my preaching. Her words were "fresh speech, new speech." I thanked her for her prayer.
As I rode towards Sturgis I was praying for divine appointments. I had the pleasure of praying for a number of people at gas stations and at Sturgis proper. So I was looking for divine appointments.
While looking at a leather jacket, I noticed above the till, " Jesus is Lord!" I asked if they were Christians and they said yes they were. We exchanged pleasantries and then asked what we did and were we were from I said I pastor a church in Dauphin Manitoba Canada. He mentioned he attended a church in Border Texas. AS we chatted, he stopped and said, " I believe I have a word, prophecy, for you." He then looked at me and said these words " A new anointing is coming, a new fresh language, new speech. Jeremiah chapter one. God is going to touch your lips and you are to preach with the power and the anointing and the finger of God. Like a new speech."
Needless to say I shared what happened two days earlier. We were really blessed. I was looking for divine appointments for others and God had one for me.

Alzheimers Motorcycle Event

Alzheimers Motorcycle Event

On August 22, members of CLR cooked and served breakfast for about 80 hungry motorcycle enthusiast that were heading out for the derby part of the event. CLR has been doing this part for about 5 years and it is a major feature of the day. Later in the afternoon many riders demonstrated their skills with motorcycle games put on by CLR. To finish the day, we hosted a BBQ supper for the riders. Thanks for your support . See you next year
